The budget of Shtokman researches

Researches of the Shtokman oil and gas field and technical and economic feasibility study for the project will cost more than 800 million dollars. As barentsobserver informs, the budget of 800 million dollars was approved by the Board of Directors of the project operator Shtokman Development on 2008-2009.

According to Yuriy Akhremenko, representative of the Shtokman Development, funds will be spent on seismic, geologic exploration, space shooting expenses, on the preparation of technical and economic feasibility study for the project and major engineering decisions in 2009.
