“Aeroflot-Don” stops the flights to Murmansk

As MBNEWS was informed by the representative of airline companies “Aeroflot-Don”/“Aeroflot-Nord” in Murmansk, the airline company “Aeroflot-Don” stops the flights to Murmansk since October 1, 2008.
Ehduard Dombay, the head of the Murmansk «Aeroflot-Nord» subsidiary, stated that there are about 2000 tickets currently sold on cancelled flights of “Aeroflot-Don”. According to the agreement between two airline companies, passengers who have tickets on the flights of “Aeroflot-Don” will fly by “Aeroflot-Nord” without tickets change. All passengers of the flights D9617 Moscow-Murmansk and D9618 Murmansk-Moscow are directed to the flights 5H 521 and 5H522 accordingly. There is no current information about the flights resumption during next year summertime.

The cancellation of the “Aeroflot-Don” flights in Murmansk is not connected with the changes in the company’s route network.
